Can I play in the Wednesday social league without being a CTA member?
Yes, absolutely! The Wednesday social leagues are separate entities for all
intents and purposes. You do not need to be a member of CTA to play in the
Wednesday social leagues.
Exceptions to this is when the social league is not running and games are hosted on Wednesdays for members.
I’m new to touch/CTA. Can I try it out before committing to membership?
Yes, of course. For individuals brand new to touch or the club, we will be offering 3
training sessions free of charge. After these sessions, you will either need to become
a CTA member or you can continue to join training sessions at a rate of £7.50 per
session.
Can I still train with CTA if I don’t want to be a member?
Yes, of course you can. However, from October 1st 2022 onward we will be introducing
a £7.50 fee (per person per session) to attend training. And remember, if you are not
a member you will not be able to represent CTA in tournaments, nor will you have
access to subsidised referee or coaching courses.
I’m a referee, what are my membership obligations?
If you only referee at our Wednesday social league you do not need to be a member
of CTA. If you are a tournament referee for CTA or attend training as well as referee
please contact CTA to discuss the various options available. Please note, existing
referee incentives will continue and be included as part of the club membership.
