Honey Badgers Win Summer League

Badgers once again proved their dominance in the league and took home the Cambridge Touch trophy.

In the first half Badgers built up a strong lead which Superheros never managed to recover from. The final score was 9 – 6.
Well done Badgers!

In the other games, Bury beat Nightwings to take home the Plate and Dukes overcame Nobodys to take the Bowl.

So Congratulations to Badgers, Bury and Dukes.

Unfortunately due to a technical error, photos from the evening were lost, sorry.

Spring League Finals Night

An exciting night of finals

First up were the Wolverines who beat Steppy Platypi 11 – 9.
A great win for Burys squad who have plenty of promising young players and come so far after joining us only a season ago.

Next up we had the final of the Bowl between Black Fox Academy and Mott Shots.
Congratulations to the Foxs for winning that game.

Also at the same time were our top teams, Superheros and Honey Badgers, battling out for the Cup. At the end of the first half Badgers had edged just one touch down lead. An eventful second half had the teams locked level when the hooter sounded. It took a drop off to decide the eventual winner whom was Honey Badgers.
Badgers also collected the trophy for the Superleague too.

Thank you to everyone involved and lets get on with the Summer League.

Superleague Winners 2017

In the first of our superleague season, the Honey Badgers were victorious against Superheros. It was a well fought battle between Cambridges top players.

Badgers managed to build up a good lead into half time. Superheros started to come back in the second half but it just wasnt enough.

Final score was 8 – 5 to the Badgers

The superleague was created to enable our senior players extra game time to play at a higher level in preparation for tournaments. If you wish to get involved then make sure you come to future training sessions and declare your interest to our coaches. The superleague will return again next spring league.
