Hello fellow touchers,
It has been a tough few months without our beloved sport and it will not surprise you that the summer touch league will not run this season.
These are tough times for us all but here are some things to keep our spirits up…
The CTA have listened to feedback from members of the club and for the coming season (summer 2020), we would like to try to expand our women’s development team – the Nightwings – to give more opportunity for female participants in the CTA leagues to experience women’s touch. How we develop the team next year will largely depend on the response we receive. If you are female and would like to try playing women’s touch on a Wednesday evening in the league, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to express your interest! This is an open invite, anyone is welcome regardless of playing ability, and if we get enough interest, we may even be able to run a women’s league!
Last Saturday saw our annual end of season awards with over fifty attendees.
After a large feed, thanks to The Burleigh Arms, our hosts, Sue-Ellen and Rob, present awards to our outstanding players of the season.
